Altoni Kelderman

The story...

Altoni

Altoni has been making fresh pasta with passion and pride since 1993. Altoni, an Italian with a love of Italian cuisine, started preparing artisanal fresh pasta for local restaurants at the old studio on Pothoekstraat in Antwerp.

In 1999, the current company manager took over the pasta studio and moved the company to a new location in Schoten. The fresh pasta proved so popular that the business quickly grew to become the company as it is known to its many clients today. Through continuous innovation and investments in the most advanced production lines, Altoni succeeded in offering a wide range of top-quality pasta.

Kelderman

For years now, fresh croquettes have been a staple of the Kelderman home. As early as the 1970s, Irene Kelderman was preparing this delicacy. At parties and particularly at Christmas, the entire family was on hand, because people knew that fresh croquettes were on the menu. The croquettes proved so popular that even the local village butcher wanted to sell them. The skill and know-how were passed down from mother to son: Tom stills uses his mother Irene’s recipe. The contemporary Kelderman croquette is popular among young and old.

In 2009, the two gentlemen decided to join forces. The result was a dynamic company, Altoni Kelderman NV, that is ready for the future.

Since that time, they have already received numerous awards for their very tasty and high-quality product.
