A large amount of heat is released into the environment in the form of flash steam during the steam peeling process. Profenco's blow-off condenser is designed to capture this flash steam and condense it during the entire steam peeling process. Condensing the flash steam removes most of the odour particles and releases a lot of energy. The heat released is transferred to a closed hot water circuit via a heat exchanger. The previously clearly visible steam plume is greatly reduced and becomes virtually invisible if sufficient heat can be transferred to the hot water circuit.
